This may not be the appropriate forum, but we found out today that the Triangle has lost a wonderful cat champion. Katie Taylor was a high school senior whose senior project was on feral cats. Her smile and laugh were contagious and guaranteed to put you in a good mood.
Katie's devotion and love of cats (friendly and feral) was evident to everyone who knew her. Katie volunteered with Operation Catnip and helped Alley Cats and Angels on some of our trapping projects, including the prison project. She also loved big cats and volunteered with Carolina Tiger Rescue.
Katie, we will miss you. Thank you for being such a champion for the cats. We are all better people for having known you.
